KUWAIT: QatarEnergy and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), both state-owned companies, are on the verge of finalizing a long-term sales and purchase agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG). The upcoming deal was hinted at during a signing ceremony on Monday, as noted by a banner at the event.
According to Reuters, discussions between QatarEnergy and KPC have been ongoing regarding a 15-year agreement under which QatarEnergy would supply Kuwait with 3 million metric tons of LNG annually.
