Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Friday, reflecting gains in the international market. The price of gold per tola reached Rs256,500, marking a Rs1,000 increase.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs857, bringing it to Rs219,907, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of gold had remained steady at Rs255,500 per tola on Thursday.
Internationally, gold prices also saw an increase on Friday. According to APGJSA, the rate climbed by $37, reaching $2,430 per ounce, which includes a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs2,850 per tola.
