Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, reflecting a rise in international rates. The price of gold per tola in the local market climbed to Rs276,400, marking a single-day increase of Rs2,000.
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,714 to reach Rs236,968, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This comes after a Rs300 dip in the gold rate per tola on Saturday. In contrast, international gold prices rose the same day, with rates hitting $2,652 per ounce, including a $20 premium, following a $20 increase.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,400 per tola, showing no changes.
