The gold price in Pakistan continued its upward trajectory for the second consecutive day on Friday, with a significant increase of Rs1,400 per tola. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the new price of gold per tola stands at Rs263,500.

In addition, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a surge of Rs1,200, reaching Rs225,908. This increase is in line with the rising international gold rates, which saw a $15 increase to $2,518 per ounce.

The gold price in Pakistan had previously reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola last month. Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola.

The APGJSA shares daily gold and silver rates, providing a benchmark for the local market. The continuous increase in gold prices may impact the local jewelry industry and consumer demand.
