Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, following a decline in international rates. The price of gold per tola in the local market dropped by Rs700, settling at Rs275,000, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs600, bringing it to Rs235,768. This decline comes after a Rs200 increase in the price per tola on Monday, which had pushed it to Rs275,700.
On the international market, gold prices also fell on Tuesday, with the rate standing at $2,653 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $6 decrease for the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs3,050 per tola.
Last month, gold prices in Pakistan hit a record high of Rs277,000 per tola.
