Gold Price Drops by Rs2,000 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs2,000 per tola on Saturday, following a decline in international rates. The price per tola now stands at Rs261,500, while 10-gram gold is priced at Rs224,194 after a Rs1,714 decrease, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Friday, gold prices had risen by Rs1,400, closing at Rs263,500 per tola. In the international market, gold prices dropped by $21, bringing the rate to $2,497 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Silver prices also saw a reduction of Rs50, settling at Rs2,850 per tola. Last month, gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola.
